The climate of the Atlas Mountains is characterized by the combination of two different types of air masses, They are the humid and cold continental air masses that originate in the north. and the hot and dry tropical air masses that originate in the south, Rain is also more abundant in Tell Atlas than in the Saharan Atlas. In addition, rain falls more in the northeastern regions than in the southwestern regions. The highest rate of rainfall was recorded in the east of Tel Atlas.[2]
As the altitude increases, the temperature drops dramatically. Despite the proximity of the sea, the coastal mountains are cold regions. For example, Jabal Al Babur, which rises to about 2004.06 meters, is characterized by the accumulation of snow on its summit for a period of four or five months. - barbarian tiger (Panthera pardus Panthera): This tiger is known as the North African tiger, and it was classified as a type of tiger in the late nineteenth century, and it is rare to find this type of tiger because it is found in a specific number of places in the Algerian and Moroccan region of The Atlas Mountains, where the climate is slightly moderate.
