منذ الصغر ، فالعائلة هي القدوة المثلى لاي شخص وهذا المثل الاعلى يتغير بشكل دائم مع تقدم العمر ، ونتيجة للتعديل في الاذواق والاحتياجات . إن توفر قدوة يحتذى بها في الحياة أمر هام للغاية ، والحصول على قدوة جيدة هو الاهم ، كما ان لها أثر على ما يقوم به الانسان وكيف يتطور الانسان في النهاية.

كما ان القدوة الإيجابية لها تأثير على افعال الانسان وتحفيز الانسان على السعي لمعرفة إمكاناته الحقيقية والتخلص من الاحساس بالضعف . فالقدة هي دافع لتنفيذ الاستفادة القصوى للحياة .

المثل الاعلى ضروري لزيادة الثقة بالذات لأنه يجب أن يكون لكل انسان معيار يسعى من أجله أو يقارن نفسه به. يستلزم أن يكون هناك “قدوة” أو “مثل اعلى” التي يستلزم أن يسعى في تحقيقها إذا رغب الانسان في أن يكون لديه قدرة بسيطة من النجاح في أي طرف من اطراف الحياة. لذلك ، من الهام أن يكون للانسان الإلهام الواعي لمعرفة هويته وبذل قصارى جهده لتحقيقه .
